- Early-morning Phi Phi departures reach Maya Bay before the day-tripper crowds; sunrise is experienced at sea during the roughly 1 hour 10 minute crossing, not at Maya Bay itself.
- Phang Nga Bay itineraries are sightseeing tours (James Bond Island, sea caves, hong lagoons, mangroves) — there is no snorkeling in Phang Nga Bay. Snorkeling is offered on Phi Phi, Coral Island and Krabi itineraries.
