Simba Sea Trips is proud to announce the newest tour offering, the Phang Nga Bay Kayaking Tour is the most eco-friendly option available. It provides a unique experience of The Phang Nga Bay region and provides guests with the opportunity to paddle into the undergrowth and close to the Phang Nga Bay caves.
Eco-Friendly Kayaking Tour Itinerary
The itinerary of the Phang Nga Bay Eco-friendly kayaking tours at a glance (but please be aware the itinerary can vary slightly on occasion due to weather conditions and factors beyond our control)
5:30 am – Pickup from the hotel and transfer to Ao Po Pier (depending on hotel location)
6:30 am – Departure from Ao Po pier for Phang Nga Bay
7:40 am – First stop at Panak Island, kayaking/canoeing in the cave and paddling around its internal lagoon
9:20 am – Second stop at Hong Island, kayaking/canoeing in the fantastic scenery
10:15 am – Sail to James Bond island
10:40 am – Get off the boat to walk around Ping Gan island (“leaning rock”) to take lots of beautiful shots of this famous rock (Koh Tapu) used for many memorable scenes in the James Bond movie, “The Man with the Golden Gun”
11:15 am – Back on board for a delicious Thai buffet lunch (cooked on the boat) while moving to Lawa island (or other)
12:30 pm – Arrive at Lawa Island for swimming, relax, sunbathe on the white sandy beach or play with the canoes by yourselves
2 pm Head back from Phang Nga Bay to Ao Por pier
3:20 pm Arrive at Ao Po Pier and transfer back to your hotel with great pictures in tow
10:15 am Sail to James Bond island
10:40 am Get off the boat to walk around Ping Gan island (“leaning rock”) to take lots of beautiful shots of this famous rock (Koh Tapu) used for one of the scenes in the movie The Man with the Golden Gun
11:15 am Back on board for a delicious Thai buffet lunch (cooked on the boat) while moving to Lawa island (or other)
12:30 Arrive at Lawa Island to swim, relax, sunbathe on the white sandy beach or play with the canoes by yourselves
2 pm Head back to Ao Por pier

Had an amazing time! Kayaking and island hopping, private lagoon swimming, and a crazy cool hike to the top of an island (Wear shoes). Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a lot of the islands and get in some caves.
Magical Day with Simba Sea Tours
My partner baulked at the prospect of getting out of bed at 4:40am. to catch the 5am pick-up car, so I booked this trip to go solo. So, with her quietly snoring, I met the car and we arrived at the harbour around half an hour before departure. We had a light breakfast at the Soho club before boarding and leaving at 6am. The early start is so worth it. We watched the sun rise while heading directly to Maya Bay. Our guide Momo was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly with a great sense of humour. Another bonus to leaving early is that you beat the crowds and as we were leaving Maya Bay the hoards were starting to arrive. We spent the day swimming and snorkelling at carefully selected spots and then had chilled beach time at Coconut Island before returning to a delicious buffet lunch back at the Soho Club. I thoroughly recommend this company. All of staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The booking process was easy and their boats are clean modern and comfortable. Thanks team Simba.
Incredible boat trip from Phuket
Fantastic experience with Simba boat tours! A very early start, collected from the hotel and taken to the marina, which was beautiful. We had a nice breakfast and then set off on the boat to Maya bay. The staff on the boat were kind and organised. They made the day so enjoyable! We then went to two snorkelling and swimming spots with fish before going to a private beach. We finished by having a wonderful buffet lunch and then were taken back to our hotel. Excellent experience, we would recommend to all!
