How long is the Krabi private charter?

Eight hours, departing Boat Lagoon Marina in the morning and returning to Soho Pool Club mid-afternoon. Start time is agreed when you book.

Where does the charter go?

Koh Hong, Hong Lagoon, Railay Beach and a snorkel stop at Chicken Island as standard, with lunch on Koh Yao Yai and a stop at Coconut Cape. Your captain sets the order on the day around tide and sea state.

Is breakfast included?

Yes — served on the beach at Koh Hong: coffee or tea, our banana bread, and Thai sticky rice with egg custard or coconut.

How many people can join?

The from-price covers 2–4 guests; above four a per-person rate applies, up to a maximum of 18 adults. The boat, crew and itinerary are yours alone.

Is snorkelling included?

Yes. Equipment is provided and the crew chooses the calmest side of Chicken Island or a nearby reef on the day.

Can we climb the Koh Hong viewpoint?

Yes, the 360° viewpoint is a short, steep climb on metal steps — bring shoes, not bare feet or flip-flops.

How far is Krabi from Phuket by boat?

About 50 km across the bay; Koh Hong is roughly 40 minutes from Boat Lagoon Marina. By road it is around 180 km with two ferries to reach Railay.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your captain makes the call at the marina in the morning. If we cancel for weather, your deposit is refunded in full; if conditions allow a safe day with a changed route, we run it and tell you what has changed.

Can we customise the day?

Yes — longer at Railay, an extra snorkel stop, a later start. Tell us when you book and the captain will build the day around it within the tide and daylight.

Is hotel pickup included?

Yes, from all Phuket locations, and you are returned to your hotel after the charter. The pool at Soho Pool Club is free to use before you head back.

Our female tour guide was so full of energy and was hilariously passionate about helping us capture those memorable pics! Snorkeling we saw numerous baby sharks (and even a 1.5m+ one eeekkk!) and a cuttlefish. This was hands down the best island tour we've been on, topped up regularly with delicious snacks and drinks and finishing with a tasty lunch. Would recommend!

This trip was great. Transport actually came early and we were on the boat by 6am. Sara gave us a quick brief and we watched the sunrise on the way to Maya beach. The beach was pretty empty and the breakfast was good with plenty of food. We had a lot of time to swim and snorkel at the stops and they pointed out cool fish and baby sharks to see in the water. There were only 7 of us so plenty of room on the boat although the seating was enough that it wouldn’t feel too crowded even when full. Everything was well organized. Sara and crew were great definitely recommend this island boat tour it was my favorite tour of my trip!
